The aim of the conference is to learn and interact with other interested development agencies about the future of regional development. Throughout the sessions of the event, high-level European and International speakers will discuss regional development in the last thirty years, the priorities which have been changing during the time and the instruments for regional development.

The cooperation with national associations of regions and cities in Europe is one of the keys to acknowledging what is the current position of citizens and territories towards Europe. For this time, the representatives should answer the following questions:

• Which functions will change or remain in development agencies in the future? 

• In which direction do they focus their development agencies towards 2050?
